In Search of Mad Billy
This book was not intended to be a travel guide, although it can be used as one. Nor were my reasons for undertaking this adventure meant to be about proving my physical fitness or my mental toughness, but I ultimately found both. My motivation for this project is a simple one: I wanted to find the inner voice of my place of origin - Australia, and like most inner voices, they come from the heart, so I went out to the heart of the country in search of it... One beat at a time.
