The Maltese Crisis
As the World reels from the Cyprus Event, Special Duties Agent Gaz Seymour finds himself caught up once more in a conflict that challenges his character, skill and resolve. Accompanying him on his mission is the 'Ice maiden', a missile expert who Gaz finds more than intriguing. Malta; a small insignificant Island in the Mediterranean finds itself the Centre of world attention as an ancient treaty is invoked by the Libyan Government and used as an excuse to establish a military base within Europe's boundary. Backed by Islamic nations enraged by the Cyprus event, Libya sends a full scale invasion force headed up by an ambitious naval Admiral who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. As Scud Missiles are launched from Malta into Sicily, the crisis deepens. Can Gaz and his new friends fulfill their mission to destroy the Scuds and their launchers? Gaz and this story are of course fiction, but the treaty between Libya and Malta is real and has never been revoked. If you think that the small sun blessed Island of Malta could never pose a threat to world security, or you enjoy the occasional holiday there, you need to read this book.
