When a young female researcher, Njoki, is given a field assignment in the Rift Valley to investigate and collect data on their way of life... She travels to the Rift Valley, leaving behind an angry boyfriend who has no appreciation for her work. She is met with challenges, intrigued by the culture and scenery and in the process falls in love with a Maasai moran. Senteu, who by his own right has gained the respect of his fellow warriors and villagers. He does not plan on loving a woman whose life is different from his and one who might be for a season, let alone father her child...
